2025 summer Programs
We offer an Explorer Program for students ages four to six years old, and a Farm and Art Program for ages seven to 12 years old (rising Second-Graders to rising Sixth-Graders). We also offer Waldorf Weeks, screen-free childcare focused on nature, art, and community, for weeks when other local summer camps may not be open.
Our school’s forest and field setting is the ideal place for children to experience a fun and inspiring Upstate New York summer to the fullest. Our programs are open to the public as well as to our enrolled students.

Registration for our Farm and Art Program opens in mid-February.
Explorer
Summer Program
Ages 4-6 Years Old
Days will be spent outside in our magical forest and field, equipped with comfortable shady spots, a sand play area, swings, a climbing structure, water sources, and lots of room to run around. We strive to provide a world where children can experience the wonder of childhood.
Within the rhythm of our day, you will find time for crafts and activities such as beading, watercolor painting, clay sculpting, and games as well as sprinkler and pool play, and expeditions to the forest. Children bring their snack and lunch from home and there will be a rest time for full day campers.

Farm & Art Summer Program
Ages 7-12 Years Old
Each week, campers will start their day with caring for the farm animals at IWS and other farm and gardening activities. The afternoons will focus on a different STEAM theme each week, like Cardboard Week, Puppet Show Week, or Handwork Week. Campers will also have ample outdoor play, and opportunities for art and crafting, games, and guided themed activities depending on the week's theme.
Children bring their snack and lunch from home.

Waldorf Weeks

Ages 4-6 and 7-12 Years Old
Come play on our playground and campus, and inside our beautiful classrooms, spaces designed for open-ended imaginative play. Explore natural material toys and tools, connecting with nature, and creating arts & crafts projects, all under the warm and supportive direction of our dedicated staff.
Children bring their own lunch, water bottle, clean indoor shoes, and need to come dressed for the outdoors. Mid-morning snack provided.

Cancellations received in writing by:
May 16 = Full Refund
May 30 = 50% Refund
June 6 = 25% Refund
No Refunds will be given after June 6th
