As we explore Rudolf Steiner's understanding of human development from birth to 21 over this coming year, the first unit will be held on:

Saturday, October 18, 2024, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Workshops will be held in person at the Ithaca Waldorf School. No knowledge of anthroposophy or Waldorf education is required prior to the workshops.

This unit covers an overview of the human development from birth to 21. It offers an introduction to Rudolf Steiner’s picture of the four-fold human being and the “pedagogical law. Participants will consider the three developmental stages in relation to the idea that we are spiritual beings on a physical journey.

This is the first unit out of five. The workshop facilitator for this unit is Laura Hayes, long-term Waldorf educator trained in anthroposophical curative education.
