This year the festivities were held on their new campus at 20 Nelson Road in Danby. Families and friends gathered for flower crown making, crafts, and maypole dancing. Tours of the new building were given by board of trustees members while children celebrated the
school’s new home with live music and a cake walk.

    • Come, play, make bread, and learn about our Waldorf Early Childhood programs including our Parent/Child Classes, our Nursery Class, and our mixed-age Kindergartens.

    All Open Houses will be from 10:00- 12:00pm and will feature a puppet show at 10:30 am.

    Children are most welcome. Refreshments served and enrollment materials will be available.

    Construction has begun on our new school building, located just 7 minutes from downtown Ithaca on Nelson Road in Danby, NY. Our new home constructed on our own 80 acres of farm land, will include 6 classrooms, both for grades and Kindergarten as well as, a community space. (We will continue to offer a second Kindergarten class in our downtown location in the First Presbyterian Church.) The project completion date is September, 2012.     songs with live music, we celebrated the commencement of construction
    on our new school building. Danby town officials, Waldorf school teachers
    both present and past as well as Board members, donors, children and
    friends were present to “break ground” on our farm land purchased 7
    years ago. Our dream to build our own home finally has come true!
